Cheesy Sausage and Hamburger Toasts

1 pound hamburger
1 pound hot sausage
1 brick Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt & pepper to taste
1 package mini, square rye bread

Preheat broiler. Brown the hamburger and sausage, drain. Add Velveeta cubes and stir until melted. Stir in oregano, salt and pepper. Lay out rye bread in single layer on cookie sheet. Top with scoop of cheesy mixture. Broil until lightly toasted. Serve warm.

*Can make ahead and freeze, then pull out and pop in oven til warm.
