Holiday Herb Cheese Spread

2 8 oz. packages softened cream cheese
1/4 cup softened butter
2 tablespoons freeze-dried chives
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 teaspoon garlic pepper
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
red bell pepper (optional)

With electric mixer, beat together cream cheese and butter until blended. Add remaining ingredients except bell pepper and beat well. Chill for 4 hours and serve.
