The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, Inc. was chartered in 1954 and in 1983 merged with the Crown Development Trust Fund, Inc. The mission of Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, Inc., through successful fund-raising by alumnae and collegians, is to fulfill the founding principles of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity by providing, in compliance with IRS guidelines, support for programs that are educational, philanthropic and always responsive to the needs of a changing society, further enhancing Zeta Tau Alpha’s leadership position in the Greek community and its influence in the world.
As members of Zeta Tau Alpha we “learn the nobility of serving” and with that in mind, we have many service and fundraising opportunities at this year’s Missouri-Kansas Zeta Day.
Major Donors
Chapters and individuals reaching Major Donor status with a donation of $300 or more during the ZTA Foundation’s fiscal year are recognized at local Zeta Day events at again at NLC/Convention. Major Donor buttons are given as recognition, and colored ribbons are added to the buttons to represent giving levels. In 2005-2006, the ZTA Foundation had 543 individual major donors, 140 collegiate chapters were major donors (96% percent of all collegiate chapters!) and 101 alumnae chapters were major donors.
To make a donation to the Foundation make your check payable to Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation and mail with your registration form. If you are unable to attend you can still make a donation to the Foundation in honor of our Zeta Day.
Crown Corner
Honor your sisters with a crown at Zeta Day. The money raised through the purchase of crowns will be donated to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation. The crowns will be displayed throughout the rooms at Zeta Day.

Pink Bling
This year we will be making Breast Cancer Bling Key Chains for Komen for the Cure St. Louis Affiliate’s survivor luncheon.
Kingdom House
The St. Louis Area Alumnae have teamed up with Kingdom House this year and are asking your help. Kingdom House has provided high quality social services to low income families for over 100 years. We will be making lap blankets for them to give to their families and collecting items from their wish list. If anyone has extra fleece they will not be using in the future, please feel free to bring it. We will cut and create blankets.
In addition to the lap blankets we will be asking each person attending Zeta Day to bring an item that can be donated to Kingdom House. Check out the list below to see their needs
